Cha..cha..cha...changes....

After 4 years of being "Shelby Baker Photography", we are changing and moving to bigger and better things!!

Not only will we have a new name, but we will have all new pricing, packages, and possibilities to fit anybody's needs!

I am so excited to welcome all the changes, and hope that you'll stick around to see them, also!

What was once our website {www.shelbybakerphoto.com} will be up until January 1, 2015.  I will announce on that day the launch of our brand new site.  With that, the blog URL will also be changed, a new Facebook page made, and also Instagram name change, as well.

We have had the most amazing clients the last four years, and we couldn't have done it without any of you! I love you all to the moon and back and hope you'll stick around to see what adventures we embark upon next.


Thanks for all of your love and support you have given as we start a new journey through this crazy thing called life.

Emily Beach in Savannah

Oh, my lanta! I can't express enough how much I love the city of Savannah.  To the brick roads, the old buildings, and all the history behind it -- I just love being there. 

Of course, when Emily's mom asked me to go shoot here I was TOTALLY on board!!!!


We stayed on the beach that weekend, so we snapped a few beach pictures as sunset too. ;)

Adding something new...

I always said I wouldn't be one of "those" photographers.  The one's with the blog, the website, the Facebook page, the Instagram.  I wouldn't post the same photo on all webs of social media, just my site and one other. 

And then one day, I realized that each session has a story behind it.  The shots that have meaning to them can't be described slapped on a website in a gallery with 20 other images.  You can feel what was felt in that photo, but sometimes you just need to tell the story behind it.

So,  I decided to blog.

So, here I am.

Again.

Please excuse the mess around here as I try to sort through the world of Blogger (again) and figure out my way around here. 

Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy lives to savor in the moments of my photos.  Maybe they'll inspire you, maybe you'll want a session too.  Maybe you'll just take 10 minutes to forget about everything outside in the world - that's what happens to me while taking them, while editing them, and then again while looking at them after they're complete.
